1/2 kg Vanjaram Fish or Nei Meen
Oil
1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1/2 teaspoon Cumin powder
1/4 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
Curry leaves
1/4 teaspoon Lemon Juice
Required Salt
1 tablespoon Corn Flour
1 teaspoon All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Chicken masala powder

This vanjaram fish (Seer Fish) fry is cooked by coating it with flours and spices which adds crispness and spiciness. This requires less ingredients and easy to prepare. It is good for starter as well as side dish.

Clean the fish. Have the flours, spices and other ingredients ready.

Mix all the ingredients by adding some water and bring it to a paste. Then coat the fish slices with that. Let it marinate for an hour at least in refrigerator.

Heat some oil in a pan and fry the marinated fish side by side only in medium flame or low flame. When placing the fish into the pan, keep the stove in high flame then cook it in medium or low flame.

Vanjaram fish fry ready to be served!
