These flaky biscuits take most of my pantry space until I started cooking it on my own. Once I learnt, I never bought it from store because it tastes amazing when we eat it fresh and hot from the oven. And now it has become one of the favorite snacks for my entire family. This is a simple recipe since I use store bought puff pastry. If you plan to prepare it next day keep the frozen puff pastry in the refrigerator or if today just keep it on the counter for 1-2hours (or as per the instructions).Keep it covered to prevent it from becoming dry.

Steps

1
Done

Pre heat the oven to 180°c/350°f
Lay out the thawed puff pastry sheet on a flat surface(here i used aluminium foil) and sprinkle some cumin seeds over it.

2
Done

Gently roll over the surface using a rolling pin or glass bottle so that the seeds get embedded in the pastry sheet. Using a knife cut it into small rectangles.

3
Done

Line a baking tray with parchment paper and place these piece on it. Now place the tray in the middle rack of the preheated oven and bake for 15 mins or until golden brown(start checking them after 10 mins).

4
Done

Flaky biscuits ready! Serve it with a cup of tea or coffee.
