2 Chow Chow (Chayote)
3 tablespoon All Purpose Flour
3 tablespoon Corn Flour
2 tablespoon Rice Flour
1/4 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
1/4 teaspoon Jeera powder
1/4 teaspoon Coriander powder
1/4 teaspoon Pepper Powder
1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon Chicken masala powder
1/4 teaspoon Garam Masala Powder
1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida
required Salt
1/2 teaspoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves
for frying Oil

    Chow-Chow (Chayote) vada is a delicious appetizer and also it can be a teatime snacks. It is super easy to make this crispy Indian snack. Serve it with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise.

    preparing the ingredients

    Take two medium sized chow chow and peel it. Cut them into pieces and grate it. Squeeze out the water from the grated vegetable.

    Mix the ingredients (Do not add water)

    Add flours, spices, ginger-garlic paste, salt, curry leaves, coriander leaves. Thoroughly combine until the mixture is smooth. Take the mixture and press one at a time into small patties.

    Note: Since Chayote is already rich in water you may not need to water.

    Deep Fry

    Heat oil in a Kadai and deep fry both sides in medium flame until it turns brown.

    Yummy Chayote vada is ready!. Serve with tomato ketchup or mayonnaise.
