Ingredients

1/2 kg Cheppa Kizhangu
for frying Oil
Required Water
Required Salt
1/4 tespoon Asafoetida
1/2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder
Mustard seeds
6 small crushed Garlic cloves
Curry leaves

    Cheppa Kizhangu fry is tasty recipe which goes well with rice. It’s loved by everyone, especially my kids :). It is very easy to make and quick one.

    Have all the ingredients ready

    Add the Cheppakizhanku to a vessel and boil it for 20 minutes by adding some water to it. After that peel the skin (can be easily removed by hand). Then cut it into small pieces.

    Heat the oil in a pan and fry the Cheppakizhangu (boiled, peeled and cut from previous step) in medium flame; to have it evenly cooked and to give crispness.

    Heat oil in a pan add Mustard seeds, Curry leaves and Crushed Garlic cloves. While the mustard seeds starts spluttering add Kashmiri red chilli powder, Asafoetida and mix it well in low flame. Then add fried cheppakizhangu to the tempering mixture.
